Blu Spa is a Hong Kong-listed company. It owns and develops an in-house brand of beauty and skincare products that bears the same name. The products are from Canada and all formulated with natural plant extracts and sea essences. The Group was listed on the GEM board of the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited in February 2002.

The principal activities of the Group include research & development, distribution and sales of a series of beauty and skincare products under the brand of Blu Spa. The brand has more than 200 products in skincare, aromatherapy, haircare, body care, make-up and men’s beauty. The existing distribution network covers Hong Kong, Taiwan and big cities in Mainland China such as Beijing, Tianjin, Shenzhen, Guangzhou, Shanghai, Dalian, Shenyang, Suzhou and countries in Asia. Other businesses include provision of spa management services to hotels and high-end residential estates, provision of spa services and professional facial and body treatments to individual customers, operation of international professional beauty schools and provision of internationally-recognized professional courses for beauty therapists.

Essential oils of plants are the most concentrated form of herbal energy. They are considered to have one of the most complex structures that cannot be reproduced synthetically. Essential herbs have been used to manufacture medicines and plants have been used in holistic medicine since early Egyptian times. Marine Algae known as sea plants have been used medicinally and as poultices to calm inflamed skin since the 18th century. Their highly complex rare mineral content has been used for treating muscle and joint pains, as well as healing skin disorders.

At Blu Spa we use the ancient principals of our plant essences and vital sea ingredients to create the finest, purest products for all your skin, hair and body care needs. There are still many undiscovered plant species, and we are constantly searching the earth for effective new ingredients.

Blu Spa is a company with a conscience. We only use ingredients that come from renewable resources. We do not compromise on cost by using mineral oils or other petroleum ingredients. These petrochemical products cannot be absorbed by the skin because of their chemical composition. They can act aggressively to the body, causing sensitivity and reactions in addition to ultimately polluting the earth. We do not conduct or endorse animal testing, nor do we use any animal by-products in our product manufacturing.
